Our Cole Slaw Recipe

  • Chef knife
  • Cutting board
  • Whisk
  • Small sauce pan
  • Large bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 – 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Pour sugar and apple cider vinegar into a small saucepan
  • Heat over low heat, while whisking the solution to dissolve the sugar
  • Turn the heat off
  • Pour olive oil into mix, adding sesame seeds, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  • Cut up a head of cabbage to the consistency you like – fine or coarse
  • Pour mixture over shredded cabbage and mix well
  • Cover and store in the refrigerator overnight
  • Serve chilled with barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs, chili or whatever. It’s always good.
