Recently Jetpack announced that you can write an article in Google Docs and, using the Jetpack Add-on, publish a draft to the WordPress site of your choice.
Let’s see if this works.
This add-on in Google Docs will take all your images and formatting with it when you publish.
How to get it
It’s is called WordPress.com for Google Docs. Go over to the Google Web Store to get the add-on. It’s free.
If you don’t have Jetpack on your WordPress site, here is a link on getting started. Jetpack has many uses, including your site stats, backing up your site, and much more.
Update: The image above did not come through on the 1st try. I went back to the document and selected the image. I then chose Wrap Text from the menu under the image. I updated the draft, and it worked.
