It’s been years since I’ve been in contact with the world at large. I have a family. I used to be a remodeling contractor. And then a teacher for remodelers. Then I stopped. Sold my various websites and eventually stopped writing on my personal website.
I started writing my memoir and that went well for a while then slowed down to a writing trickle.
It’s been years since I’ve had a Website; and I miss it. I miss sharing. And teaching. As an aged retiree I now have time and opportunity to travel, write, research – and share.
So here we go. I hope you enjoy the contents of this website. I love traveling, having been moved around a lot as a child. A pastor’s son and then a ‘mish’ kid (missionary child) growing up in Brazil. A little university time. And then marrying my lovely wife – also very well travelled being an ‘Air Force brat’.
The wanderlust comes naturally. Teaching and helping others is in my nature. And boy do I love technology. Always have. Cooking, now that I am retired, is relaxing and fun.
Thoughts? Oh that. With many decades under my belt, I have thoughts, opinions, and will have many random musings. Let’s see how that goes.
Anyway, I am excited. And my hope is that you will accompany me on this journey. Join in. Subscribe. Comment. That’s what it’s all about. Let’s learn together.
See you on the next post. Ciao.

If you’ve seen those, this is the…
Natchez Mississippi – Part 2
I awoke early on this our 2nd day in Natchez. I went through the usual routine of writing, eating breakfast, and reviewing our plans for the day. Natchez is one of the many cities with a Hop On, Hop Off city tour. New Orleans also has one I soon would find out. Hop On, Hop…
Natchez Mississippi – Part 1
Reading Time 4 minutes Next leg: Tuscaloosa to Natchez Mississippi I got up early and quietly exited the room, not wanting to wake my wife. I took the elevator down to the breakfast area and picked out a good spot where I wouldn’t be distracted by too many people or the TV. I got a…
