An Apple Tip

A very short post about a very handy tip.

I #learned that you can say, “Siri, take a note.” And then speak the note and it appears in Notes. “I just got back from my walk.” And it is time stamped so I don’t need to state the time. The time stamp is two-fold – at the top pf each note is the date and time you modified the note; click it again and it shows the date and time when the note was created. You set which you want to sort by in Notes Preferences (keyboard shortcut is Command Comma – a global shortcut to preferences). I choose Date Modified. Super easy and useful. I have been using my watch to dictate a note, but all this requires is speech. I.e., you can access it while driving or walking – the very times you think of things. Apple Notes continues to play an important part of my daily activities.
